Main Street Winter Haven has announced that Anita Strang has assumed responsibilities as Executive Director for the 17 year-old organization. Anita has been a Main Street member for the past eight years and has owned and operated two downtown businesses currently operating the Laughing Owl Market.
In remarks at Main Street’s Annual Meeting (held in Winter Haven’s beautiful new downtown parking garage) Strang noted, “I’ve been a new Main Street member, a new Main Street volunteer, a new Main Street Board member and I’ve served as Main Street’s President all of which allows me to appreciate the value of our mission and the impact we can have on our downtown.”
Main Street President Michele Bannon announced Strang’s selection at the May 15 Annual Meeting.
