Former Havenite Now President of Disneyland Resort

Winter Haven native George Kalogridis has been named President of California’s iconic Disneyland Resort. Kalogridis began his 38-year Disney career in 1971 as a busboy at the Contemporary Resort. He comes to Disneyland after serving as chief operating officer for Disneyland Resort Paris.

Kalogridis is the son of the late Tony and Judy Kalogridis. Tony was a much beloved pharmacist who operated a popular downtown Winter Haven pharmacy for many years. The Chamber is proud to report this outstanding accomplishment about an outstanding former resident.

    Although I do not know George, I was inspired to comment, as I was cast member of Walt Disney World from day one in 1971 through 1974. I am pleased to hear that George made it all the way to the top!
