The Winter Haven Police Department has introduced a new DUI Enforcement Unit. This is the first time that WHPD has dedicated a unit specifically for the enforcement of removing those driving under the influence from our city streets.
Two specially trained officers, Josh Mercer and Jeremy Davis are assigned to this patrol and their mission is clearly displayed in markings on the police cruiser. The new vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art DVD-based video and audio recording equipment.
This is probably not where you want to make your debut …
