The Polk County Charter Review Commission will hold a public hearing this Wednesday, May 12 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Winter Haven City Hall Auditorium. A variety of Charter Amendments are under consideration from adding more County Commission seats to adopting a Code of Ethics for elected officials.
No Charter Amendments have been officially proposed. That process will occur after public input has been gathered. This is an opportunity for Winter Haven area residents to voice their interests and concerns with regard to the Charter Review. Make plans to attend.
