Honda Coming to Haven

Look for a new Honda Automobile Dealership to open on Cypress Gardens Boulevard just west of Hill Nissan. Plans call for a 26,719 sq. ft. facility owned by Frank Rodriguez/Greenway Ford of Orlando.

The site is currently being cleared and construction will begin when plans are approved and building permits are finalized.

    Fabulous! Now I won’t have to drive to Orlando for service. You’ve made my day!

  2. Minivan Mom says:

    YEAH! I hope it is ready before my next oil change! Congrats WH -

  3. Don Q Morgan says:

    This IS exciting news! Winter Haven is growing!

  4. Cord Cuervo says:

    Excellent! Mr. Gernert, would you be so gracious to even speculate when the dealership will open?!

  5. Bob Gernert says:

    It is really not prudent for me to speculate. A nearby dealership took about 10 months from groundbreaking so it will likely be sometime in 2009.

  6. Paul A. Fastone says:

    Hallelujah! It’ll be nice to get my Accord worked on locally for a change.

  7. Pierce Herasse says:

    Winter Haven is movin’ on up! Now we need a Saturn dealer for my wife’s car! Come on, Saturn!

  8. Manual Pheeling says:

    Will they be consolidating the Honda motorcycle dealership into this new site?

  9. Bob Gernert says:

    Mr. Pheeling,

    The two franchises are owned by different individuals. They will operate separately.

  10. Don Q Morgan says:

    @Mr. Pheeling,

    That was a really great question that I was going to ask, but I guess you beat me to it. You are soo smart like that! Do you have a Honda, Manual? If so, what do you have? I have 2 motorcycles and a boat… it’s really great out on our own “Chain of Lakes”!

    @Mr. Gernert,
    Thanks for your prompt responses!

  11. Manual Pheeling says:

    Mr. Morgan,

    I have a new Honda Civic Hybrid and 2 well-used Honda FourTrax that we use for utility and the occasional mud boggin.’ I agree that the lakes are beautiful, if a little short on water at this point. I’d considered getting a boat, but I’m afraid my funds are a little shallow. Ha ha. Pun intended!

    Mr. Gernert,thank you for answering my question. Any chance of a Yamaha dealership any time soon?

  12. Don Q Morgan says:

    @Mr. Pheeling,
    Oh man a fellow mud bogger! We’ll have to meet up I have an Abrams M1 Tank that I use for my offroad adventures. Kidding. Boat is a good investment, specially here in WH.

    @Mr. Gernert,
    Any chance of a Tank dealership coming to town?
